Any other Illinois fans?  The most solid team from 1-5 in the nation will win the national title this year.  And they will bring the ruckus to Wake tomorrow night.  I'll refer back to this post next April hopefully   :D

again i must oppose the evil empire or cave

as such i must ask
how bout them Salukis ?

i will be the big illini fan this year due to the fact that

my niece is at U of I

i won $$$$ on them in vegas last march

i NOW work with like 4 U of I alumni (perfect kiss ass situation)

my father in law has always been a big fan

i used to go visit champaign and get stinking drunk and stay
out all night partying to the wee hours of the morning - and i was always told that SIU-C was the party school

so dan
i will root for the illini

but you have to give the dawgs from SIU-C their due
they have been in the Ncaa T the last couple years (lost but covered)
-  i did see them beat texas tech & booby knight at the United Center

where did bruce weber come from ?

go dawgs

go illini

i have played the old disc course and the new course  down there

anyone else who can say this ?

I used to go to school down there too big dog.  I'll pull for SIU since they obviously aren't a big ten school.  They have had an awesome squad the last couple years.

I've only played the urbana course at lohman park.  that was some easy cash on league nights  :D   not alot of disc golfers there when i was there.  they were supposed to be putting in an 18 holer in crystal lake park in champaign.  never happened though.  how about SIU and u of I both make the final four?

I'm looking forward to this game tonight. I'll probably be able to catch the 2nd half. The Big 10 has taken a beating in this tournament. This should be a good test.

That was a good game. I thought Michigan State was going to be able to get over the hump VS Duke. Their dumb guards wouldn't pound the ball to the big guy when Duke was in foul trouble. Hopefully the Big Ten will get a few more wins.

There is no comparison whatsoever between this well coached army and Lou's underachieving teams of the 80's.  Whoa!

Wisconsin bitches, you can kiss your 38 game home winning streak goodbye tonight.

Illini up only by 2 at the half.  This is gonna be a good one.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!   #1 just rocked the Badger's world!  That was a good game.  Wisco played tough, but when you are outclassed there isn't much you can do.

38 game winnning streak............bye bye.

If the Badgers learn to make free throws this game would have gone down to wire. 4 out of 10 in the first half, then don't attempt a free throw til very late in the second half...you ain't gonna beat #1 if you can't get to the free throw line.

It was a great game...but I'll have to disagree with you Dan, the Illini did not rock the Badgers world. Score wasn't indicative of how close the game really was. I will agree that the Badgers were outclassed. Illini are tough and I don't foresee them losing the rest of the regular season.

GO BUCKY!

It was a good game! Those Badgers need to get the ball inside more.

If the Illini can get by this weekend @ MI State, there is a good chance of going undefeated the rest of the season.

so, to extend the metaphor, Dan goes into a funk as he begins the second round this weekend and looks like me. His partner then uses a seldom played disc and aces two holes in a row and runs dueces the last six holes to win.  Like Dee Brown he can look at his personal stats and be ashamed (2 for 9).  However, he defended and rebounded well and goes home undefeated. :D

Good luck boys.

Dan Michler

so what dave is saying is that i'm like dee brown and brett is like ingram.
