Join the PDGA if you are not a member. If you join the PDGA after September 1st you get 16 months of membership for the price of 12. With a new (first time) PDGA membership you get a pdga mini with your # on it, a disc, stickers, rule book, & 5 issues of Disc Golf World News.

I've had quite a few people asking me about this. I'm double checking with the PDGA to make sure September 1st is the same date.

As you know the PDGA membership year runs concurrent to the PDGA Tour which
is January to December. For new never before first time members AND members
who have not been current for 5 or more years, if they join or renew after
September 1/06 their membership will be extended until the end of 2007. It's
a great deal. Membership fees will be going up in 2007 so these folks will
have to pay the '07 fees: Pro $75, Am $50, Youths age 17-19yrs $50, Junior
16 and under $25. The family discount still applies. Ace and Birdie Club
prices will remain unchanged.

With the increase in membership fees this year you are going to want to renew thru the club affiliate program which saves you $5.00. We send in a bundle of memberships around the 1st of the year so plan accordingly.

Current members should renew right now and save $10! I renewed last week for the next couple of years at 2006 prices. Of course my wife wondered if my body would hold up that long.

Current members can renew now for any number of years. If you are new, then wait for 9/1 so that you are enrolling for 2007 and get the end of 2006 as a bonus.
