Spike, Sully, Nick and myself will be there. Last thrown round was in November...yuck.

Sweet! Add Adrian Jr & Sr to the list as well.

How about not posting images at their raw size? 1200x900 is way too large for a message board attachment.

Based on the weather, whoever chose the date can be my new stock market advisor!

This event was very enjoyable and a great idea.  I'd like to see it continue and grow.  Congratulations to Fox Valley Metro.  Thanks, Tom, for setting this up.

I had a great time out there. That course was very fun. I enjoyed the challenge of all the new holes.

Congrats to Fox Valley for the win. I'm impressed at how fast that club is growing. It makes a big difference in the disc golf scene around he Chicago Area. Someone hit me up at the next event. I forgot to pick up a tag.

I want to thank all the supporters of DISContinuum. We took quite a few memberships and had a great showing considering it was an hour + trip for most of us. We have nearly 85 members already this year. WOW!!!

I was able to see some sweet shots & putts out there! Hopefully we can see some of that action on Discgolftv.com

Thanks to everyone that showed up to this great event! ;D What a way to kick off the year! I cannot believe how great the weather was, you cannot ask for more this time of year. Thanks to Tom and the members of DISContinuum for making this happen! I only wish I could have been there for the doubles round. Congratulations to Fox Valley for winning the sweet trophy ( Thanks Nathan, it looked great!!!).
I also have to give props to you DISContinuum members who came into the course blind and still tore it up; Great job!! I cannot wait until next year's challenge. Maybe we will have to move it a little closer to you guys?

Final results for the tourney will be available some time later today.   Special thanks to Brett Comincioli for helping out in too many ways to list.  Thanks to Aaron Scott and the Fox Valley Metro Disc Golf Club for helping to sponsor the event and get the word out. Thanks to Gary "Tree" Camp for doing a great job on the course.  The course held up great for two rounds of 50 players.  Nathan Fenton did a tremendous job with the club trophy; thanks to Adrian Sr. and Adrian Jr. for donating time and a nice CTP package; Mukey, Damon, and DB for running the CTP.  I would also like to thank Abe Arenas for coming out and taking photos and videos of the event.  He is doing a great job of capturing disc golf in the area and is going to put together a DVD of the event.

Thanks to all the players that came out to represent their clubs. Especially the players who came from up north and the city.  Waking up and seeing that it was a sunny day made all the difference.

CTP Winners: 1. Dan Michler $23.00 2. Brett Comincioli $20.00 3. Chris "Mukey" Mukekenow $20 4. Roger Esquivel $20.00

I also wanted to add that I had a chance to play doubles with Brett against Roger and Roy Esquivel.  Roger and Ray put on a putting clinic.  Roger didn't miss many but when he did miss Ray picked him up.  It was fun to watch. They are up and coming players.

Cool. I shot really well considering I shot par (60). Nicely above my rating. Too bad it doesn't count, but it's a throw in the right direction at least.

Thanks again to Tom and everyone else that made this event happen! Even though I was not able to attend I'm glad you guys ran this--I think team events are very cool and this was a great way to bring together some area clubs.

I only shot that 'well' (and missed at least 3 putts) *because* it didn't count. I think some of those scores might reflect going for the 'risk' and not getting the 'reward'. I hit almost 0 trees in my singles round and hit nearly every one of them during doubles.
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

The rough ratings look nice until you consider that a 930+ player had a little frustration and played  lefty for a while and had a sub 800 round.  I suspect he wouldn't do that in a sanctioned tournament and that would certainly have an effect on the projected ratings.  That being said, my round felt like it projected above.
