I feel your pain.  That hole has always been tough for me as well.  It mainly has to do with the position of the tee pad relative to the tee sign.  The little stone seems to be put in a spot where you are very close to the tee sign if you try to avoid hitting a tree right out of the box.  Its a little cramped for a lefty to do any type of a run up.  You and I are not going to put our Orc right  under  the basket.  I say think 3-4 and not 2-3.  Play safe, accept a bogie and avoid a crooked number.  There are multiple holes at Crystal where you can buy back that bogie.

Dan Michler

if you are playing worlds then over half the holes at Brown Deer are shots like that, so practicing that hole might be helpful.  i would suggest you not think at all.  just throw it.  i think about my angle of release just before i throw and hopefully not the trees or anything else.  either way, i've whacked them several times too buddy so don't think you are the only one.

I haven't seen yet how many came in today. We had 38 pre-regged for Saturday as of last night. My guess right now is that we will have day of registration available Saturday morning but check back here later to find out for sure.

Justin - as far as paid preregistrations I've taken in, the field's right about 1/2 full. As long as Luke gets there early he should be able to get in.

just cuz i don't want any day-of destractions.. I want to make sure that my mailed in pre-reg was received for Sunday?  I mailed it out Tuesday.  I see that my brother's online registration was added, so that's good :)

thx.  hole 14 is frustrating enough.  I don't need that + "we never received a check from you" on the same day ;)

There's 41 pre-regged for Saturday and 52 for Sunday so we know that we'll have a good turn out this weekend but at the same time we have plenty of spots for day of registration. Looks like good weather so I hope to see you all out there!
