Final results are up. I will update the pro tie as soon as I am able to verify. The leaderboard cards are in the car right now.

Thanks for a great time!  Can't wait for tomorrow!  Just a tip to anyone attending on Sunday, you may want to dip yourself in Off before you come.  I know the mosquitos cost me at least 3 putts.  I think they had  them specially imported from the jungles of Vienam just for the tournament.
That kid is back on the escalator!!!

Off didn't do anything today. The only thing Off was my putting! :(

Oh and I totally forgot to pick up my rain jacket under the merch table after the round. It's green. Please tell me that someone has it and I don't have to kick myself for it. :(

How are the tees after all the rain today?

We actually didn't really have that much rain in Crystal Lake. I'm sure it seemed like more to the guys playing but it just drizzled for two hours in the morning and that was it.

Taylor,

I can't see you going to the Int/Rec day, and that is a haul just to pick it up.  I can grab it if you want.  I live on the North side and work in the loop.  So, it should be easy enough for you to get from me.

Thanks to Scary Mike for getting the scores in. I taught him how to do it today. I'm going to let him try to do it on his own tomorrow.

Taylor is probably off drinking, but I'll speak for him since I am stuck at work  :(

I'm sure he would greatly appreciate it if you grabbed it for him, he won't be around tomorrow or at Rockford in a couple of weeks, so otherwise it would be a while.

At work on a Sat night?  Damn, that sucks.

Sure I'll grab it and we'll figure the rest out later.

Yea whoever wants to pick it up would be great. I'll make whatever effort necessary to grab it here soon. Tomorrow won't work but one night this week may.

As for the tees, they are in good shape based on the rain today but overall for those who have not played out there, prepare for some slippery teepads and some erosion/ruts in the areas that should be flat.

Thanks Jay for doing that and Becky for cleaning up after me!

Does anyone have or know the link to the video that the guy shot yesterday?  He followed my group for the first round and didn't get too many good shots, but he said that we should be in the video.  I forgot to get his card or the address.  Just curious, if anyone finds it please post it for the club.

Markie Esquivel takes it again. So long Intermediate Division.

Markie also won 1st place in Intermediate in IOS #1 and #2. And he's only been playing disc golf for a year.

3 Fox Valley Metro members on the final-round, top card. Might be time for another Club Challenge. :boxing:

The Crystal Lake tournament seems to thrive on showing off the glaring problem of not having PDGA membership required - a lot of GOOD non rated players playing Rec!  I know that my brother is not a PDGA member and did really well (only his second tournament), but today he was really on and scored ratings close to that of an intermediate - and finished SIXTH.

A 982 rated round from Rec?  Congrats Tony - but good grief!

Yes there are non-member ratings that take care of these things. They are updated when the PDGA issues new ratings. But one 980(unofficial) rated round will not alone force someone to move up out of rec (plus it won't factor in for him until September).

Chalk that up to a break-out round for Tony.  His rated rounds to date show him to be very close to the cut-off for Rec. . . . but not for long.
