in that case then you'll have practice!

Yeah, well this year I seem to be doing better on courses I haven't practiced.  ::)

Don't forget my chair... I have a towel already.
thanks,

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Jon Brakel

Brett, Becky and I will be there. Maddisen will not. In keeping with the club invitational tradition, she has summer band that week!

These are the only pics I could find.  I am not sure if i took a 1st place pic or not.not before giving them to TOm.  By the way no more glass trophies as i no longer work for that company so get the final ones while you can.

So if the ace pool is rolling over from this tourney to the league on Sundays, is the league ace pool also rolling over to the tourney?

that's an interesting question.  8)

I'm inclined to think that it should either 'roll both ways' or stay separate. How about splitting it between the Putting and Distance winners if no one aces?

Thanks for the pics Nathan. The first place trophy is a little bit bigger than the other two trophies.

i don't have any issues if the $15 or whatever the league ace fund rolls into the tournament with the understanding if no aces are hit then the tournament fund rolls back to league.

I would prefer to keep them separate, but that's only because I can never make it to league!  B)

I think if nobody hits an ace the $ should be distributed by a CTP like we did at the Club Challenge.  More people get in on the action.  Putting, distance, ace.  With no trees on #1 I figure somebody is going to hit it but in any case, the money should go home that day and not roll over to the league ace fund.

I think that's the best idea of the above.

I don't care what you do with the ace pool money.  Just don't pull an FTM.   :o

On an unrelated note, those of you who agree with me that Brett is doing a great job as Club President ought to think about playing pro.  It's only $10.  I won the tournament last year in Advanced so I guess I have to play pro!

I can't speak for Brett, but if we are paying $2 or $3 or $5 for the ace fund or whatever it is, and part of the funding for this event comes from the money that is made from leagues.  I think that the $2.00 would be a nice contribution to the league ace fund and it may help to get more people out to leagues if the fund has a bump.  I rarely make league in the summer but don't have a problem if my $2.00 goes back to league ace fund.

How 'bout I just give Brett $5 & let him kick me in the nuts?

Brett IS doing a great job, keep it up!

I will probably make it on the 17th.  I'm looking forward to it . . . I'm also feeling a cold coming on . . . cough, cough.

then they should be beaten to a pulp. Troublemaker.

I really don't have that strong an opinion either way. Other than the beating part.
