Is Bruce in Mouseland or is there a chance he'll be a-comin' Saturday?

jim

Good weather, good friends, & good fun!  The different formats worked well and made things interesting! Mirth and Kevin Lenth were hottest and took first place. Pat Wood and Jason Hany (PrizeMonkey) took 2nd, Jay Nierodzik and Chud took 3rd. Kyle Scuglik won the Ching Mini-SkillShot, while Jason, Pat and others won the rest of the many raffle prizes. Josh Hurth donated some fine discs as did Shawn Fallon, to make the prizes fall into the "overflowing" category. Kirsten's chili was great!

Thanks to everyone for coming, for helping and for giving so much to charity! We raised 86 pounds of food and $105 for PADS! Woo-hoo!

this time of the year is bad for me. the only day i would be able to play is sunday. bevier would be easier for me to get to but dretzka isn't that long of a drive from here.

sounds great to me. jon would do a fine job. i will be able to make the ice bowl if it is held on a sunday, so that sound good to me if we do it after best shot. sorry i won't be around to help but i'm just to damn busy right now. once june hits, i'll be around full time again. i'm also contacting the spydiscgolf from ebay where i bought my mach3 portable to see if he sell permanent poles as well. we might be able to get a good deal.

Speaking of Ice Bowls, Since I can't play at our Ice Bowl, Jason & I are planning on playing at Milwaukee in that Ice Bowl. Has anyone played this one. I cannot play on Saturday but would be able to play on Sunday during the Am day. Would I be a bagger by playing this event?

Jon,

Have you posted a flyer at B. Grove yet?

Jay,

could you post a flyer at both Higland Park courses & Glencoe if you get a chance?

If we hit all those, that would be 10 courses hit with flyers. Kenosha, Wuakegan, Round Lake, Libertyville, Buffalo Grove, Highland Park(2), Glencoe, Streamwood, & Elk Grove.

Jim,

If you get a chance, please mail a flyer to Gary Lewis & Tom Christiansen. If you can e-mail me their addresses, i'll do it.

Thanks

Brett

talking about an ice bowl, holy cow! Milwaukee was awesome. Big time turnout, big time prizes, & big time fun. I had a blast. The playing conditions were brutal. colder than balls & 25+mph gusts. Jason & I finished 8th out of 25 in the am division. We played like dog crap but we still had fun (+13 in the 2nd round alternating shot). There were prizes all day long. Jason won a kc tye dye eagle. I won a disc golf bag. We each won Elite Z Predator, Talon, Wasp, & Elite X Predator for finishing 8th. The Am winners were sandbagging mofo's finishing 2 strokes ahead of the best advanced team.

Jon,

I now have 9 small clip boards #'d 1 thru 9. I also picked up a box of 144ct golf pencils if you want to use them for the Ice Bowl.

1 quick question. This is not a bring you own partner event. What happens if there are an odd # of people that show up?

Anyone going to stick around & play after the Ice Bowl? I'm going to be out later in the day. Probably won't get there until 2:00PM. Already paid Jim for bag tag so pick me a good one Jim! Good luck to all of those who play.

I was not able to play but showed up as the 3rd round was starting. Jon did a great job! Disc Golfers in this area need to wake up & smell the coffee. For only 13 players, there were some nice trophies & plastic givin out as well as CTP's. I heard the 3 different formats were very fun to play as well.

I'm taking care of Shady Oaks in Streamwood and Clark Park in Elk Grove.

I have played Dreska's Ice Bowl for the last few year and it is a blast.  Costly but it goes to charity.  I would prefer to go to Dreska for a few reasons.  Mainly they have a heated facility between rounds, to relax in.  Lots of disc to buy.  People come from all over the U.S. to play this one.  Lots of top Pros.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

Jon that is one scary picture of you and the eye in the background.  What is the story with that?
