How much snow is on the ground in Waukegan? I know there might be more tonight so it'll probably be really slushy Saturday, but my boots aren't waterproof and I need to know how many pairs of dry socks to bring...

....not to mention towels....
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Ummm....yeah, I actually had to edit it due to content length...   ;)

1). Alright JOsh!  That's very generous of you man!  Jim's got a good idea with the sign for the holes you are sponsoring.  A wooden stake, a color printer, a heavy cardboard cut out, and some clear packing tape should work pretty well, I would think, for getting your logo out there.

2). Raffles are fun.  The more stuff there is, the better the chances of Joe Average are to win.  The more stuff there is, the more tickets will be sold, and the more money is made.  Everyone wins!

Shawn, thanks for the tip!  I was actually just being hypothetical.  I "never" think my drives will be bad.  They just turn out that way once I throw them.  ;)

I am planning on getting there by 9 or so with the tables and chairs. Unless you need them earlier.

Pat, I was planning on leaving Kenosha around 8:30ish to get to Bevier right around 9:00.  If you need/want help with the tables and chairs, let me know!  I'll be happy to give you a hand.

Can someone please pick up a bag of salt (snow salt) we can use on the tees? Let me know please.....  THANKS!

Jim, I can grab a bag of salt and bring it down for the cement tees.  Do we have any ideas for making the tees on the alternate positions safer?  A running shot off the tee on 12, 13, etc could be disasterous with wet grass and snow!  :)

I just want to say that this rocked!  Thanks to everyone for a great time!  While a tie for 5th place (aka "last" place) isn't where I (or Damon, I'm sure) wanted to be, it's motivation to do better next time.  ;)

I definitely want to thank Damon for dealing with me through 27 holes, especially after my first drive of the day hit the only tree on the fairway and went a total of 24 feet.  :)

I also want to thank Jon for running such a great event.  I had a great time (I think everyone did) and the fact that it was all for charity gave me the warm fuzzies.  Having a good time and helping out people in need, what could be better?  Well, I suppose taking home a plaque and half a dozen new discs (Jason!) might make it a little better... ;)

Anyway, thanks to all, and I hope to be able to play a round or three with everyone soon.
