Another guy aced one of the playoff holes, hole #3... didn't catch the name.  I think he was 3rd or 4th overall?  It was confusing with all the trophy only guys.  That ace didn't count towards the ace pool.  Nice job Michler taking a first place!

How tough are the alternate holes?  I'm kicking myself for having Cubs tickets for Sunday heh... I stopped by out there tonight at the end of the tournament for today and played a round from the shorts.  I was -3, which I certainly can't complain about for my first time at a course!  Maybe the alternates would have evened out my score, but man... even with rec only playing 1 round from the shorts... I actually had a chance of performing decently!  It figures

What a great day at a great course! Thanks to everyone who came out.

I took about 175 pictures during the Pro Final Four. And this news just in...you heard it here first...Round Lake will be the LAST Pro Final Four EVER!!! If you love watching the pros play those crazy holes that Brett lays out then come on out to Fairfield next month because that will be the last one.

Finally a big shout out to the person who fished my '06 Prairie Open Spectra out of the lake!  That disc skipped off the beach about 15 feet into the lake.  My group couldn't spot it in the water.  I'd be interested in knowing how it was recovered!

Ratings come out tomorrow, he may already be bumped up. This past weekend's results won't make in until the winter update.

The PDGA needs to tweak when and how often ratings come out. I better schedule would be every March, May, July, September, December.

Thanks for the compliments. I appologize about Sunday's results. We'll get them up soon. I thought I'd be able to do them quicker since I can't play but I got really sick Saturday night and spent most of Sunday sleeping in my van.

Jon will have them up in a few days, max. They'd usually be up by now, but he got sick & might still be recovering.

Jon is pretty sick with an intestinal bug.  I'm guessing he'll get to this by Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile, PDGA ratings come out today.  The deadline to get TD reports in for tournaments to be included was three weeks ago, so Jon being sick is not why Aurora won't be included.  Three weeks ago the batteries went out on crystal ball and we could not find the magic recharger.
