I'd ask for the date, but Krupicka would send me to the PDGA site to do my own legwork.  ;D

Edit -- or I could just read the thread title.  DOH!

pickax

FWIW I read the post and had the same question. It took me a minute to realize it was up in the thread title.

...which is why I deleted my post from yesterday. Which makes both of them irrelevant.

But at least Brett changed his post to put the date in the text.  ;)

I got this e-mail from Tim McNinch of www.fadegear.com

Brett,

I am donating some bags for CTP contests, etc. at the Sinnissippi
Tournament. This is my hometown course and I play it 3-4 times a week.

Best regards,

Tim

I found this link the other day. It has some pics. They definitely do not give this course justice.

I got in one round before dark on Friday; first time I'd played this course in 7 or 8 years. I remembered a few of the holes but in general I'm wondering if it's been redesigned in the last few years....?

It's a very interesting course; wish I'd gotten out there early enough to play it twice. Brett's right about the photos; they don't give any hint of the elevation changes and tightness of some of the routes through all the trees. I think #9 is the only 'dull' hole, and that won't be if there's any wind. I'd say there are only a couple of deuceable holes for anyone below the low 900s, but I wouldn't consider any of them overly brutal if you're accurate ...

Note to Brett: the wood bridge over the creek on #6 (I think it's #6) is not in great shape and I'm not sure it'll withstand 100+ players crossing it on tournament day....
thanks,
Damon

Dan Michler

Thats cool that you got to get out there and play Damon.  It has not been redesigned really, but 3 of the teepads (1,2,9) were moved due to the construction of the walking path that goes through the park now.  Also, B and C pin placements were created for each hole.  That is probably why it seemed different to you.

You have to make quality shots to get birdies, but for the most part there isn't alot of trouble if you have an errant tee shot.  The most rough you will see is on the temporary holes for the tournament.  Very fun course with a pretty good mix of shots.  Can't wait for May 10th!
