How about them First Place White Sox?!?  Who knows how long the Sox can keep firing on all cylinders like this but the pitching and hitting are ON POINT! 

Also I don't about all the other Sox fans but it's refreshing to see this team play as good as they look on paper... FINALLY.  Hopefully they keep rolling, we'll need every win. Especially whenever Detroit decides to finally wake up.

The Tigers are again proving that pitching and defense is more important to achieving consistent success than a stacked batting order (especially when you play in a notorious pitcher's park).  If that team doesn't win 90 games this year, the GM should be fired.

As for the Sox:  They certainly have a chance to hold the division lead in what is shaping up to be a really bad division.  I love De Aza, wish the Cubs had a player like him.  Konerko (36) and Pierzynski (35) are having career years so far.  Sale is living up to the hype, although I'd expect him to hit a wall at some point in his 1st full big league season.  Peavy is staying healthy.  Rios and Dunn have had a resurgence to their career norms.  I can't imagine things going much better for the Sox than they are right now (this is my attempt to jinx these bastards).

How about that BIG sweep against the Rangers. Pitching was solid all series (8 inning 2 hitter today!) and ill be damned if Kevin Youkilis is working out to be the best Mid Season pick up i can remember (going back 15 years).   Go GO WHITE SOX!

An acquaintance of mine from high school ran on the field at Wrigley a few years back.  It was poorly timed, however, because later than inning Zambrano went on to punch Mike Barrett(?) in the dugout,  taking all the attention away from his stupid a$s. 

He ended up getting charged with a felony and received probation as well as an embarassing write up w/ Mugshot in the News Sun... I hope the parents got hell for this, just stupid.
