1 year $7.5M got A.J. out of town?  I guess the White Sox really didn't want him, because a 2 year deal wouldn't have been that tough to offer to a guy who just hit .278 27 HR.  Maybe they are assuming like me that he was on steroids, and would rather steer clear.

arggggg !  tough season , I am still in amazement that the season was pretty much OVAH in June when the Hawks were hosting the CUP  ! 

I am pretty sure most cub fans know that feeling, but it was relatively new for me.

Pretty heated battle for 4th worst record in baseball between the Sox and Cubs.

The Sox are kind of where the Cubs were at a couple years ago when they fired Hendry.  I think its time to finally say goodbye to Kenny Williams and try to rebuild from the ground up.

Looking at the Cubs, I think the best we can hope for is that some of these prospects start to find their way to the big league club and make a real impact in 2015.  2014 is likely another lost season on both sides of town.  It's been a depressing 3 year stretch.
