Hole #19 has been moved to the south side of the path. It's even with the tennis net. It's now 252ft.

Also, Hole #A1 has been moved back 10ft to get the tee away from the tree on the left. A left handed player that played the Blast hit his hand on the tree.

Kelsey had a nice run at a black ace on that hole. Came within the neighborhood of basket I.

It really doesn't matter what we do. I have no problem moving it to the short placement until soccer season is done.

I've got to start getting to leagues more often  before soccer season ends. There are only so many holes I have a chance of hitting. :D

Adrian Sr. and KVN (maybe others?) moved basket 9 to the short position today before league started. We almost didn't play it and were thinking of playing A instead because the plug for the short position was stuck. Adrian Sr. finally got it out and is going to replace the plug with a plastic one that he has at home. He is also going to lubricate all the locks on the course because they had trouble with the lock also. Thanks to everyone who moved the basket and thanks in advance to Adrian Sr. for the new #9 plug and for lubricating the locks.

Adrian Sr.: If you have to buy anything for the plug or lubrication for the locks, hang onto the receipt and the club will reimburse you.

Brett,

The work at Bevier on the stream is completed.  We removed all the overhanging brush
and cleared the brush and trees back away from the stream bank, from the park bridge
thru to the power lines.  We also removed all the debris from the stream and added
some larger stepping stones to the rock foot bridge.  Some additional stone work was
done around the dam area to assist with water flow.  On 7/27 my crew and I were down
there again after the rain and removed a lot more debris that had collected from the
recent rains.  Everything is flowing good.  Thank you for informing us of these
concerns and we appreciate your patience.  If you have any questions and or concerns
please give Mike Trigg a call.

This is what I posted on the members only thread a few days ago.

Just got off the phone with Waukegan Park District. It is a go for the expansion of 6 holes across the street. They want to meet to start designing the 6 holes. We are shooting for a fall finish but they said it could take until the spring of 07. Just depends on the workers & the ability to get dirt moved and shaped. All 18 holes will have cement tees & signs.

Finally, a 2nd 18-holer in Lake County~!

Mukey

Played Bevier for the first time Sunday w/Mirth and a bunch of others who showed up for Best Shot. I really like this place & what the club has done w/extra holes. Good mix of open & tight holes. Didn't hurt that Mirth & I got paired up & won $. But I did take a dip into the pond water getting my disc from under the bridge.     :sign12:  Made for a long, soggy ride home.

mirth

Tom S & I tried to move 9 to the short after league today. we were unsuccessful due to the lock being frozen, and the tab on the anchor had snapped off due to abuse rendered by soccer spectators. We threw the basket into the back of Tom S's truck & dropped it in my garage.

After letting some WD-40 do its magic I was able to get the lock off.

Brett - can you run the basket out to the park & put it in the short?

Until someone can run the basket out & install that hole is closed...
