You may want to add that it is $5.00 more to non PDGA members. What are you going to do with the pre-registered players that are not PDGA members?

Jon,

I think they have games every Saturday & Sunday. I would love to resume play on #9 but it's such a pain in the butt. There have been tons of people haning out by #9 basket. Also, some kid threw Bingmans firebird in the water too. I don't want that to happen.

Yeah, that is true. Maybe we should just start chucking at will at these people. Maybe them & the park district will get a clue. We did pay $400.00 for insurance :)

Diron,

In the past, the largest # that we have had at a Bevier Tournament was 69 players. Usually our tournaments have drawn 30-40 players. The sanctioning was a last minute deal & will draw more players. I have no doubt that all 60 spots will be filled. With everything that the club has done this year, it's hard for members to set aside 2 full days to run tournaments. This has been a very busy year for DISContinuum. We are starting to build up a pretty good base & are finguring what works & does not work. At our upcoming meetings we will be discussing these situations. Be patient, 2004 will be HUGE!

Jim & Myk,

I will be going out to the park tomorrow & putting on new flags & orange tape on all 12 baskets. On the 19th, i'll go out after school & put flags & paint lines for all the alternates. I have 2 cans of oragne paint left. I also have a roll of the yellow caution tape to mark off around the #9 basket. I have 1 stake as well. We'll probably need 2 or 3 more. Just figured i'd help out a little.

Predictions on scores.

Well, I went back & checked out the scores from the HPC Memorial. Pretty much the same format. 3 Rounds of 12 Holes. I can't remember what alternates we played.

Pro 94 (-14)

Adv 101 (-7)

Am 109 (+1)

Here is what i'm predicting for the Blast

Pro 95 (-13)

Advanced (-8)

Am (-3)

Sorry for being a little late on this one but it will be dark by 7:21. Should not be a problem, hope we can get the ace race started by 6... If it runs later we should think twice about throwing it.  4rth round ironman glow 1 disc event?  just kidding.

Found this info interesting.

Love it!!  Although I was thinking of going with a cream background instead of the black.  But it's like they say, once you go black you never go back.

Hey in my eyes all Gateway plastic is premium, in Jim's eyes however, that's a different story :(

Diron (and maybe Todd) I have seen you thrown a few throws and have seen some scores you put up. After doing this I am here to inform you I will beat you with a tuna if you play the junior division. Don't bag your a am player not a junior. You may not win, whereas you would in junior, but you will get better, by being forced to make better shots, and by watching players around you that are better, and learning from the mistakes of the worse players.

Heres a fyi btw, Steve Rico won his first pro even at the age of 16, Garret Gurthie, a Gateway sponsored player, is 14 and plays pro.

errr you meant you would be [17 right??? :D

I know your no Steve Rico, but your rating in the pdga is used to determine the lowest division you could play in. So basically play Am so I don't have to call you a bloody bagger :D

At Bevier, sure I'll play advanced why not, even though half the players in Am still play better than me anyways.
