Basket #9 is back in the ground. It's in the short position until soccer is done and the anchor is fixed.

Anyone ever go pond walking for discs here? Wondering how deep the pond is close to the shore. Seems like the bank by #5 would be good & also maybe by the bridge on #9.

esau

never tried it but id be weary of fishing lures, im sure there's a fair amount in that pond...

If you do go be very careful. It gets mucky and sticky quickly. If you do go and you find my blue ace Wildcat behind hole #2 I'll pay you top dollar or trade to get it back.

me and my buddies go in regularly finding about 20-30 between the three of us every time.  it gets deep pretty gradually so you can go in pretty far but then you sink into about 2 feet of goose poop. yeah you get a fish hook in the foot every now and again but it is worth it if you are cheap like me.

i should get the kids at the teen center to hop in there so we can get some discs. Hehe that would probably work.

I met with the PD this morning. There was some give and take with the design of the 6 new holes across the street. I was really disappointed with the basket to the final hole having to be moved away from the woods. They are starting to move dirt this week and there will be some elevation of tee pads and baskets. It's still going to take some time to get it done.

They started to move earth late last week. The elevated tee on the final hole is about 10-12 feet high. The basket will be elevated slightly. It will be a tough 3 to get. The elevated green is a decent size with various sloping. These holes will be pretty much wide open but long with some interesting greens.

Thanks Brett, this is exciting news.  Can we get a nice big rock for that elevated basket like at Parkside? :P

It will be much different than the parkside rock. It will be an elevated green with a nice slope. It will be very large in diameter. There will also be some different moguls scattered.

Sounds very similar to the tee for hole #13 at Bartlett.  It's a giant grassy mound.  That hole at Bartlett would be very interesting if basket and tee were swapped...  Sounds like the new holes for Bevier will be great!

Thanks for all your hard work on this course Brett. I know that without your input the extras could be "filler" holes.
Wish Naperville would add more.... >:D

Off topic:
A temp. course designed by Brett would be awesome. We've got enough people with baskets, just need to find a decent piece of land.

reminder to brett to contact wpd about fixing original 9's anchor.... replacing would be the best way to go as the hasp is totally broken off its weld.

fyi for brett that I have no keys to anything @ Bevier & discovered this yesterday when I tried to post updated points in the kiosk
