Ratings correction has been posted. (If you played Aurora in August, you probably were affected). I've lost a couple more. I wonder if the Homie will put me over the edge?

wow - some huge changes if you haven't played many rounds - my brother went from 927 to 916 - that's a significant screwup they had at Aurora!  Rounds dropped about 30 points but are still higher than the initial unofficial rounds (at least from longs that's what I noticed).

achieved both of my goals for 2009 which were to play on saturday at Worlds and achieve a player rating of atleast 935 at the year's end.  played in 19 PDGA events and most importantly I threw atleast 5 days a week from April-October.  If I can do that again next year, I'm aiming for a 945 rating on 1/1/2011.  Biggest difference maker for me this year was improved putter upshots.  Looking forward to the spring.

I am pretty pleased with 2009. I met some goals and did not meet a few others. As far as my rating I was hoping to get in the 990 range but fell short.I was hoping to go the entire year with no rounds under 950. Only 2 under 950 in 2010. I wanted to play 20+ events but the flu knocked me out of going to Hamilton and I came up 1 short. The one goal that I really wanted was to play Saturday at Worlds. That was a major disappointment playing so poorly the 1st 2 days, battle back then let it slip away. I met a few of my A-Tier goals cashing at Peoria and Mad City. Won over $2000 for the first time. Winning 1 pro event is always a bonus.  Overall it was a great year. It's not easy staying motivated in this area. The courses really do not test your game and are not that fun after traveling and playing great courses. Can't wait for 2010.

I've had a rating ever since they invented ratings.  At 51 I will be higher rated than I've ever been in my life.  I'm liking that.  I'm good with 944, but need to play 960 golf in Ohio this summer.  Thinking about taking a basket to work and putting from the hall into my office during the winter months. 

Kira moved up a spot to 13th am woman in the world.  She passed a Frasier girl.  She whupped Kelsey on Thanksgiving but Kelsey whupped her back the next day. 

Brett, if you come out for the NASCAR this summer, you have to play the new Kensington course, Black Locust.  27 holes, many par 4s, maybe seven of them.  Better than the Tunnel.

Disappointed I fell back below 950, but the last 2 tournys really hurt. But did raise it +4 from last November, so I can't really complain.

Very disappointed with my Worlds finish. Wanted to make the saturday play. After missing it by 1 stroke in 1997, I thought I had improved enough to make that this year. Blue Valley really kicked my a$$. I knew going in I was in trouble there. Anytime you have to throw the disc over 2 miles for 18 holes, I'm in for a high round, and boy was it ever. The $270.00 Ace in my last  round kind of made it good, but overall disappointed.

The 3 things I was happy with, was the wins doubled from last year( not hard when only 1 previous year) 
Shooting a 50 hole tournament with no bogeys. Hit a Ace in round 2, and birdied the final 7 holes to win by a stroke.
And battling a In State foe in a tough and tight final round, only to go to a playoff and win on the 1st hole.( Sorry Matt ) 
I guess I could throw in beating Dave Nelson for only the 2nd time in 2 years.


But the thing I enjoyed the most, was my 2nd round at Channahon in September. Got to play the final round with Taylor. I know you don't know this, but that was part of my main goal for 2009. To play with you in the last round, on the leader card, and ahead of you. The last part of that goal( beating you ) didn't hold true, as I guess I still owe you for that lesson you told me was coming. 
I always go into the tournaments you and Nelson are at, trying to compete with you guys. Being 2 of the better players in the State, you 2 are where I put that bullseye before the 1st hole.

On another note, thanks to anyone here who helped run a tournament that I attended. Or did the scorecoards, made lunch, any help at all. It was much appreciated. Especially all the spotters. Without them, I know I would of easily lost 2 at Sterling this year.


Wont hit as many tournaments this coming year, but hope to see alot of you at the ones I do hit.
