The highest rated player in the world is now Wesley Mauney.  A (formerly) intermediate player from North Carolina with 1 rated round on the database.  He tore the bejesus out of that round though!  1041.

Kenny Glassman's final round at Worlds came in officially at 1059     By far the highest rated round shot by anybody at Am Worlds.  I should have eaten whatever he had for breakfast that morning.

All six player-Brakels saw their ratings go up.  Diana, Kelsey, Kira and Maddisen are at personal best ratings now.  Becky went up 20 points for the biggest Brakel jump.

I figured I'd be up or down 2 or 3, but Prairie Open got officially rated about 10 pts higher than the original list, the Club champ 3 or 4.

I think Strasser will be going up from 992 once those rounds from the last few tourneys (win at Springfield and win at Bloomington) get included.  He was probably the best Illinois Pro other than Sprague in 2009.

You know how in baseball a batting average of .200 is called 'the Mendoza line', anything under that is considered 'below the Mendoza'?  If McManus (currently 903) drops to 900 at any point, I nominate that we start calling 900 the McManus line     Its really an honor to be immortalized in this way Tom, so don't be offended.

I shot 8 rounds under the McManus this year.  Got to improve on that in 2010.

It just sounds good, doesn't it?  If Stank can get to 900 then we'll rename it 'the Stank line'.

I would think Josh Anthon will now be ranked #1 in the World Rankings (previously he was #2) after taking 3rd at USDGC and becoming the highest rated player.  Kind of strange for the #1 ranked player in our sport to be a relatively unknown guy when compared to Doss/Avery/Feldberg/Barry/Climo/Nikko, etc...Does anybody care about the World Rankings?

Click on World Rankings on pdga.com.  In the September version Avery was #1 and Anthon #2.  With Anthon taking over #1 in rating and taking 3rd at USDGC to Avery's finish outside the top 5, I would assume Anthon takes over the #1 rank.

well Michler i went up to 865 so i am only 35 point from 900 and we can name it the Stank line lol
