Upper Pool
1st-> Bruce Brakel. Congrats Bruce!! He wrapped up 1st today.
2nd & 3rd is a fight between Brett & Jon. No one esle is in contention to place in the top 3. Jon has the advantage since the November Safari may be the last Brett can attend. The pressure will be on Brett to win that one & hope Jon does not drop another low score at the final safari.

Lower Pool
1st Damon Short. Congrats Damon!! He wrapped up 1st today.
2nd Place will go to Steve Cohn unless Joshua Hurth finishes 1st at the last 2 events & Steve does not show up or does not play well enough to drop his lowest scores. If all of that were to happen, the best Josh can do is tye for 2nd & have a playoff. Congrats Steve on your 2nd Place Finish!!
3rd Place is a dog fight. Joshua Hurth, Jay Nerodizik, Becky Brakel, & Kyle Scuglik are all in contention. Becky has come out of nowhere to put herself in contention.

With 2 events to go a, a Brakel has locked up 1st, & 2 other Brakels have a chance to finish 2nd & 3rd. Nothing like getting our butts kicked by the Brakels.

But darn it!  I knew I should have gone Saturday!    I'm not saying I would have beaten you (since I have played exactly twice in the last three weeks) but I probably could have wrapped up second place at least.  *sigh*  

Unfortunately I have had several computer issues to deal with all weekend (fried one motherboard, another system wigged out on me, had a power supply burn out on me, ugh).  As one of the computers that went insane isn't actually mine (it's Mom's) I really had to focus on getting her system done.  

Bring on Dretzka!

I'm playing the night before (and that night actually), so it's not certain, but I hope to go if the weather's clear.

As I mentioned to Brett awhile ago, I'd like to play from the longs for fun since I've already clinched, but I'll pay my normal entry fee so as to not upset anyone....at this point it sounds like a fivesome anyhow

Jon & Bruce. If it's just 3 or 4 of us, do you want to make a side bet or play skins. I was thinking each of us could donate a new disc & first place would get 2 & 2nd place would get 1. Or we could each pay an extra $4.50 & play .25cents a hole skins. Let me know.
