As much as I would like to watch this series - The OZDGC will be running its team challenge event that weekend - well ok just July 8th.

So there will be no chance in hell that my wife would let me go to the game and disc golf.

How about this - I should be attending the series in Milwaukee on the 7,8, and 9th of July - I bet the Cubs take two out of three there

I'll take that bet.  I already have a few hundred bucks riding on brewers-cubs this year.

geeeeez was it cold at Opening day, but it sure was worth it to be there!  Couple foul ball landed in the same row as much, but just one section over.  Would love to catch a foul ball someday!

SWEEP!  Cardinals bullpen just fell apart.  Walks will burn you every time :)  Thank you Michael Barrett!  Lots of Cubs fans at the baseball card show this weekend.  It's the beginning of a great season :)

Cardinals = Awesome.....  Cubs = Worst.  Cub fans better be ready for the big let down like they always do when they start off good.

Pujols = Awesome (I'll give him that) Cardinals Bullpen = Worst.
DLee = Awesome Cubs Bullpen = Great (so far they have a 1.48 ERA in 18 1/3 innings)

hmmm... so far I'm liking the Cubs.  Cubs usually will win 1, then lose the next couple at the beginning of the season.  Last season the Cubs started 2-3, 2004 was 3-2 after 4 games, and even in the year that counted, 2003, the Cubs still started 3-2.  So I'll take a 4-1 start for the Cubs this year.  A sweep this early in the season and 2 come from behind victories are signs of good things to come!

I hope Rusch is able to put together a good start today in order to help keep the winning streak going.  It's going to be a beautiful day for baseball at Wrigley today.  The wind will really be blowing out those (coming from the south at 20-22mph).  Hopefully the homers will come only in bountiful amounts for the Cubs today!

big win last night baby!  i heard D Lee only has a sprain, so hopefully he'll be back soon.  if he goes down for any length of time we need ARAM to step it up quite a bit.

I stayed up and watched the game last night. It was a pretty bad collision and he went straight to the ground holding his wrist & was in a lot of pain. I have a feeling it's going to be broken.

Long term, high $ contract with the Cubs = Long term stint on the DL.  How does this happen every time???

It's unfair to say that it is only a Cubs thing.  I think it is really a Chicago thing.  The Bears especially also have that problem.  It is fun to get you Cubs fans all wryled up, though.  >:D
