I had a good meeting today with the supervisor. Prior to meeting him I gave him a link to disc golf course review. He realized that most of the negatives were the lack of course signs and the course was a too easy. As usual there are no gurantees that anything is going to happen.

He is checking to find out what happened to the tee signs and the practice basket. He seemed to like the idea of the 2nd set of baskets. The budget year starts on the first so he's going to check into it. I plan on meeting him early this spring and walking the course with him.

Tee pads clear at Warren? Or any other area courses?

As of 3/31 I would say that a majority of the tee pads are clear and ready for play. The exceptions for me were Hole #2 and #7. I played two rounds this week and both were enjoyable but I did end up with a fair amount of mud on my shoes and pants.

A bunch of trees have pink circles and tape on them. Others have white circles on them. I have a feeling they are going to be cutting down some trees soon.

I stopped by Gurnee after school on Thursday and #7 had water up to the basket. There is water to the right but it's gone down a bunch. It's dried up nicely out there. It's soft in places but not bad at all.

They have cut down quite a few trees on hole #1. It really doesn't affec the hole much. It opened up the hyzer line a bit but not that much. They cut down all the trees with the pink tape on them. There are quite a few with pink tape still left to be cut down throughout the course. Hopefully they don't cut the trees with the white circles painted on them. If they do the park will be bare!

Usually they use contrasting colors/marks to mark the trees to be cut and trees to be left, so i'm guessing the trees with the white circles will stay.
